Safety

FOR EVERYONE'S PROTECTION: In recent years, control of the spread of infectious diseases, from AIDS to hepatitis to the common cold, has become a prominent issue. Our office policy on Infection Control goes beyond the American Dental Association and the Centers for Disease Control guidelines. We go the extra mile to assure our guests' total health.
We use a state-of-the-art autoclave to sterilize all dental hand pieces and instruments that can't be thrown away between every patient. Autoclaving is the only way to sterilize the internal and external surfaces of all instruments.
During patient treatment, we use all of the latest techniques in Infection Control. This includes the use of PPE's, personal/patient protective equipment, such as sterile disposable masks and gloves.
After treatment, all operatory surfaces are wiped down with a disinfectant. Instruments are scrubbed clean and placed back in the tray to go through the Ultrasonic cleaner. The trays are then wrapped and prepared for the autoclave. A special "color strip" is then placed in the sterilization bag along with the tray of instruments. This color strip will change colors after sterilization has taken place. This ensures all instruments are properly sterilized.
Infection Control is a team effort. From the sterilization technique to the vacuuming technique, our team takes this task very seriously.

TECHNOLOGY: In order to provide the highest quality dentistry, we have implemented dentistry's best technology into our practice.  Digital radiography allows our guest to have peace-of-mind when getting an x-ray, knowing that the radiation level is a bare minimum and that dangerous chemicals, that pollute our environment, aren't being used to develop the film. Intraoral cameras allow our guest to see exactly what the doctor sees.

The Pro Max (best panoramic machine in dentistry) allows the doctors to see images of a guest's TMJ, sinus images, and the usual panograph showing all facial bones. This is a necessary radiograph for full head and neck cancer screenings.

The Caesy Education system explains dental conditions and procedures in concise and easy to understand terminology. These and other systems are implemented into our office to help establish a guest friendly environment in which we can provide high quality dentistry at an affordable price.
