Dr.
Jared & Dr. Karina Ottley, DDS |
|
Dr. Karina was born and raised in
San Diego, CA. Dr. Jared was born and raised in Milton, Fl. They met
while attending the University of Missouri, Kansas City, where they
received their B.A. in Biology and their D.D.S. degrees. Upon
graduation from dental school in 1999, Dr. Jared and Karina served in
the Army for three years where they continued their dental education
by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at
Ft. Lewis, Washington.
Dr. Jared and Karina
maintain a commitment to excellence in total oral health care.
Attending many advanced continuing education courses helps them to
stay on top of their field in cosmetic and family dentistry so that
that they can provide the highest level of care for their patients.
Dr. Jared and Karina were awarded their Fellowship in in the Academy
of General Dentistry (FAGD) in2007. Dr. Karina received an achievement
award from the American Dental Orthodontic Society. Dr. Jared is an
active participant at many continuing educational courses, including
the Pankey Institute, The California Implant Institute, and the Kois
Center. They are both members of the American Dental Association,
Academy of General Dentistry, American Orthodontic Society, Florida
Dental Association, as well as their dental societies.
Dr. Jared and Dr. Karina
were married in 2000 and are the proud parents of three boys: Avery,
Andrew, and Aden.

Jonathan Ottley, D.M.D |

Dr. Jonathan was born
in Pensacola, Fl. and raised in Milton. After
graduating from Milton High School, he attended the University of
Florida in Gainesville and received his BS degree in both
Microbiology/Cell Science and Zoology. Dr. Jonathan continued his
education in Gainesville, attending the University of Florida College
of Dentistry.
Since graduating dental school in 2004, he has completed an Advanced
Education in General Dentistry residency in Miami, Fl. After living in
Miami for a year, Dr. Jonathan could not wait to return home to the
Panhandle to be with his family and friends.
Dr. Jonathan is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American
Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and local dental
societies. He is committed to providing quality dentistry at a fair
price, and says "the most rewarding part of dentistry is the
relationships I develop with my patients." |

Heidi -
Dental Hygienist |

Heidi graduated
from the Dental Hygiene Program at Pensacola Jr. College in May 2000
and obtained her Florida Dental Hygiene License in August 2000. She
enjoys scrap-booking and spending time with her family and friends.
Heidi is committed to making your dental visit a pleasant and
comfortable experience.

Dyanne - Insurance Coordinator |

Dyanne Upton was born and raised
in St. Joseph, Michigan, where she met and married her husband, Bill
(he was raised in Pensacola). They have two children; one is a
chocolate lab named Snicker and the other a miniature poodle named BiGi. They moved several times with Bill's job, living in Walla
Walla, Washington, Pocatello, Idaho, and Neenah, Wisconsin. After
three years in Wisconsin (three cold years), they had a mid-life
crisis and decided to leave their jobs, sell their home, put their
furniture in storage, purchase a motor home, and see the USA for a
year. Living in a motor home, they learned to survive in a small
space with 2 adults and 2 dogs and still got along. They visited
friends and relatives all over the United States, as well as
experiencing so many sites and tastes of our wonderful country, like
the giant redwoods in northern California and fresh caught lobsters in
Maine. After the year was over, they chose to live in Gulf Breeze as
they loved the weather here and the water. Their wandering days are
over with and they no longer have the urge for wheels under their
feet. |

Lyndsi - Business

Lyndsi was born
and raised in North Little Rock, AR. After graduating high school and
attending the University of Central Arkansas for two years, Lyndsi
completed a degree in biology in May 2005 from Southern Nazareen
University. Lyndsi moved to Navarre to be with her boyfriend who
is stationed at Hurlburt Field for the next five years. They
enjoy working out, playing volleyball, eating at McGuire's Irish Pub,
and laying out on the beach. Lyndsi has always had an interest
in the health sciences field, which is what brought her to Ottley
Smiles. She looks forward to coming to work everday
because she likes the work she does and is surrounded by the most
kind-hearted people she knows. |

Sara
- Dental Hygienist |

Sara was born
and raised in Pensacola, Florida. After graduating from Woodham High
School in 2000, she attended the Dental Hygiene Program at Pensacola
Junior College and received her Florida dental hygiene license in July
of 2005. To acknowledge Sara for her clinical services and skills,
she was presented the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award in May 2005 by her
hygiene instructors. When not at work, Sara enjoys going to the
beach, shopping, and being with family and friends. |

Rachel

I was born and raised in Harlingen, TX.
After graduating from Harlingen High School, I attended the University
of Texas, Pan American, in Edinburgh, TX. GO LONGHORNS! I have had the
pleasure of traveling for the last 16 yrs. I was a civilian employee
for the U.S. Army in Okinawa, Japan, prior to living in Navarre. I
have three beautiful children; 16 yr. old twin girls and a 9 yr. old
son. I enjoy singing, working out, and watching sports!
I have been in the dental field for the
last 14 yrs. I received my National Boards Certification in ABQ, NM in
1995. I have been to many continuing educational courses throughout
the years, and was also awarded the Achievement Award by the U.S.
Army. I am fluent in Spanish.
I now reside in Navarre, Fl. My family
and I have resided here for the last 3 yrs and hope to make it our
permanent home. I am so excited to be a part of such an awesome state
of the art dental practice and such a great team! I am looking forward
to meeting each and everyone of our guests. |

Amy

Amy was raised in
Chattanooga, TN. She attended Florida State University for 2 yrs and
met her husband Justin there. He joined the Army and they were
stationed in Fayetville, NC, for 4 yrs. During that time, Amy received
her Dental Assisting training at E. W. Woods Career Training Center.
Justin and Amy moved to Navarre in 2006 shortly before the birth of
their wonderful son, Jackson. Amy is very excited about working at
such a state of the art practice and can not wait to meet all the
patients!

Becki was born and
raised in Lubbock, Texas. She has an older brother and two loving
parents. She graduated from Texas Tech University in 2005 with a
bachelors degree in Human Development and Family Sciences and a minor
in Psychology. She met her husband Stephen in college, and after 3
years of dating they married on May 26, 2007, in Austin, TX. They
moved to Florida in 2006 with their two dogs Kaya and Bailey. She is
currently attending hygiene school, anticipated graduation date is May
2010. |

Rae was born and raised
in Orlando, FL where she met her husband, Stephen. They married there
in June 2003. She then moved to GA for 1 year, where her husband was
stationed with the USAF. In 2004, they received orders to move to
England. They spent 3 years in Norfolk, England where they enjoyed
traveling around the country visiting castles and other historic
sites. They also traveled to Turku, Finland and Majorca, Spain on
vacation. In 2007 they received orders to return to the states, where
they are currently stationed here in Navarre. While the are very happy
to be back in their home state of Florida, they do miss the European
lifestyle. Rae enjoys going to the beach, 4 wheeling, and hanging out
with friends on the weekends. |

Susan has been with Ottley Smiles as a
Dental Assistant since January of 2008. She has been in dentistry for
8 yrs and has experience as a dental receptionist and new patient
coordinator. She has been assisting for 6 yrs. and loves it. She says
that nothing is better than making someone feel happy about themselves
and their smile. She enjoys getting to know her patients and making
them feel as comfortable as possible.
She was born and raised in Montgomery,
AL, where she met her husband, Chuck. They married in April, 2001, and
gave birth to a wonderful and handsome son, Jacob, in January, 2006.
They visited Destin quite often and was pleased to find out that her
husband offered a job with AT &T in Ft. Walton. They moved to Navarre
in Nov. 2007. Her and her family are loving living in a small and nice
community , and best of all, being 10 minutes to one of the most
beautiful beaches in the country.
Susan explains that it has been a
pleasure working in such a clean, professional, and state of the art
office. The new technology makes treatment for the patients and the
wonderful staff so much easier, and she can't wait to meet more new
patients. |

I was born and raised in La
Grange, Georgia. I have a younger brother and the two most amazing
parents anyone could ask for. I have been happily married for four
years to Brooks, the man of my dreams. Brooks is proudly serving our
country in the USAF. We were stationed in in Monterrey, CA for a year
until moving to Hurlburt Field, Fl. I enjoy spending time with my
husband, walking my great dane, Bebe and shiatsu, Munson, going to the
beach, and shopping. I love my church and spending time with friends
and family.

In 2005, I left Navarre and
my friends at Ottley Smiles Dental Center, to follow my husband to the
U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado, Springs, Co. We loved our time
there and it was a great experience for our children, now 11 and 9. We
spent four years enjoying the mountains, hiking, and snowboarding. Now
we are happy to be back home in Florida. I'm looking forward to
reconnecting with old friends, relaxing on the beach, and planning our
military retirement!

My name is Chassidy and I am
a dental assistant here at Ottley Smiles. I have a Bachelor's degree
in marketing from the University of West Florida, and I am currently
working towards becoming a dental hygienist. I really enjoy learning
all that I can about dental hygiene, not to mention the staff are all
really helpful and a joy to work with. When I am not at work, I enjoy
spending time with my husband Jeremy an our dogs Lizzie and Gracie.
These days we love to fish and take trips to the beach.
